Buckles Made of Irony

With Thanksgiving on the horizon, I thought it apropos to post a brilliant nursery rhyme I penned as a tribute to the hardworking pioneers and pilgrims who lived so long ago:

One, two, buckle my shoe...

Three, four, milk a cow,

Five, six, yoke a mule,

Seven, eight, dig a well,

Nine, ten, pull up a stump.

Thank you. Derrick L. Williams.
p.s. They lived such eclectic lives...
